Turning Points

On the last day of the meditation course, I went to see one of my best friends in a play.

Richard the III was being performed outside in Central Park. I sat in the grass and took in the magnificent performance. My friend, as always, was perfect in her role.

A light Summer drizzle cooled the steaming actors; they were at war, you see, and we, the audience, enjoyed the added drama of Mother Nature's performance.

The smell of the grass, the sound of traffic underscoring the verse, the humidity, all of it is imprinted on my memory as a turning point in my life.

Eight years ago today, I received my first mantra.

Best decision I've ever made.

Wishing you clarity, joy, and peace of mind.
